Where do I start with these two beautiful souls? I felt like I've known them all my life. My first time ever meeting them was at the start of our session together back in October. Pam and Jeff flew into Miami for the weekend to celebrate 15 years of Marriage and I'm happy they chose me to capture their milestone. Despite the crazy weather we were having that weekend (the beginning of Hurricane Matthew), I tried keeping the energy alive. And it all turned out well because we definitely had a ball on the beach!
From our initial greeting, I felt like Pam and I connected. She was beyond excited for our session, after looking through my portfolio. To feel appreciated and "worth it" is an amazing feeling, but with that feeling comes the stress of not letting that client down. We didn't have a theme in mind, so she granted me all creative control. I chose not to do a theme. I just wanted them to enjoy each other. Capturing the ways they looked at each other and how they interacted with one another made me all bubbly inside!
To Pam and Jeff,
Thank you for welcoming me into your life. I truly enjoyed getting to know you, two, even though it was fairly brief. You two give me hope that committed love doesn't have to be a boring love. I think that why so many young people stray away from it. The way you two still play, laugh and joke like teenagers is heart-warming. I hope these photos remind you of the time you first met; when your love was fresh and new. I hope these photos make you fall in love time and time, again! I know I have. I love you guys! I hope our first session together won't be our last!
See you soon?
xx, Arie
