In February 2023, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Vivien and David’s wedding at Wedgewood’s Sierra La Verne in California, a venue that perfectly showcased the surrounding mountains. The weather couldn’t have been more ideal for a cool winter day, making each sunlit moment feel extra magical. From start to finish, everyone’s excitement and genuine warmth lit up the celebration.
A little about their their love story: Vivien and David met at work over five years ago, bonding over their shared love of sports, TV shows, and nature. Vivien is a talented, creative soul who adores crafting and decorating their home, while David is a laid-back optimist with a knack for making everyone smile. Together, they host events like Couples Dinners, Beach Bonfire Bashes, and Football Fundays—so, it was no surprise that their wedding day was a spirited blend of laughter and love. Their attention to major championship schedules even influenced their wedding date choice!
The venue’s breathtaking mountain backdrop paired beautifully with the work of Los Angeles Floral Couture by Glendora Florist, while JC Entertainment Premier DJ & Lighting kept the party going. Vivien dazzled in her CocoMelody dress, and the entire celebration radiated joy. Leading up to the wedding, I formed a genuine bond with Vivien and David, and that connection made their big day feel like I was photographing old friends. Even now, we stay in touch—proof that capturing a wedding is about more than just pictures; it’s about building relationships that last well beyond the final dance.
